As healthcare professionals, we are always looking for new and innovative ways to promote the overall health and wellbeing of our patients, clients, family, and friends. To that end, we would like to introduce the Zeen. This state-of-the-art technology aids movement between sitting and standing, support through the hips and buttocks allows the user to be less reliant on their upper body, and upright posture is improved. The ability to remain at your own eye level while relaxing in a safe and comfortable seat is shown to improve overall mental health.

Environmental Recommendations

Single level living spaces are ideal with a minimum clearance of 30” (can it be less than this...28”, 26”?) through doorways and around furniture. Hard flooring surfaces or low pile carpet will allow for easiest movement and least resistance.

Paved paths and gentle slopes are ideal. Navigation over uneven surfaces – gravel, grass, steep hills, curbs – will be based upon the individual user. The speed and direction of the Zeen is controlled by the user’s legs. Feet should always be in contact with the ground when the user is propelling the Zeen.
